Carly Davis, PT, DPT
Carly Davis grew up in Garden City, Kansas, where she enjoyed playing sports, being active in her Church, and spending time with friends and her close knit family. Carly played on a traveling basketball team, as well as on her high school basketball team, and endured a low back injury that caused her intense daily pain that affected her playing ability. Carly sought out many different healthcare avenues to relieve her pain, but found that physical therapy was most beneficial in her returning to playing her favorite sport of basketball. This allowed her to fulfill her dream of playing college basketball. That’s when she knew that she wanted to become a Physical Therapist and help others on a path to recovery and pain free activity!
Carly began her college education at Garden City Community College where she earned her Associates of Science and received the ‘Most Outstanding Student Award’ during graduation. She also played college basketball at GCCC and was an Academic All American. Carly received her Bachelors Degree in Sport and Exercise Therapy from Fort Hays State University and graduated Magna Cum Laude. She then moved to Kansas City and completed her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Kansas Medical Center in 2018 and received the Outstanding Clinical Excellence Award.
Carly met her husband, Adley, while attending Fort Hays State and spent many hours traveling to see each other on the weekends while Carly attended PT school in Kansas City and Adley finished school at FHSU. They got married on June 2, 2018 and reside in Hays, KS with their miniature Australian Shepherd, Hazey. In their spare time, Carly and Adley enjoy playing many Rec sports with their friends, playing cards, playing piano, hunting, and spending time with family and friends. Carly is very excited to serve both the communities of Hays and Ellis by providing Physical Therapy and looks forward to making many great professional relationships with her patients!
