Graston Technique ® (GT)

Graston Technique® (GT) is a specific soft tissue technique in which trained clinicians utilize special instruments to treat a variety of soft tissue related complaints.  The technique can effectively treat acute or chronic soft tissue problems like scar tissue build up, adhesions in the tissue, fascial restrictions, and restore normal motion in these tissues.  By removing the scar tissue, adhesions, and fascial restrictions, GT allows the clinician to help reduce pain and return normal motion into the soft tissue, essentially restoring the tissue to a normal functioning, healthy state.  Furthermore, it can speed up the recovery time related to soft tissue injuries, reduce the need for anti-inflammatory medication/injections, and treat chronic conditions.  Some common conditions that GT can effectively help with are, but not limited to:

Plantar fasciitis

Neck Pain

Elbow Pain (medial and lateral epicondylitis)

Back Pain

Shoulder Pain (rotator cuff tendonitis)

Scar Tissue

Shin Splints

Knee Pain

Many other soft tissue related conditions
